Clayton Perry was born and raised in Giddings, Texas. He earned a degree in Building Construction from Texas A&M University and then entered into the military as an officer to service our country as an Air Force Civil Engineer. During his 20 year career, he was stationed around the world where he managed large scale projects and many diverse workforces. He retired as a Lt. Col from Randolph Air Force Base. Mr. Perry then continued his career in the private sector, where he spent 13 years with two global engineering and construction firms. His experience included developing and executing work with the Armed Services, including projects in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Clayton has lived and built a proven record of leadership in a number of areas in San Antonio for 25 years. He has been a leader in his church, as well as military and alumni organizations. He has also served as president of his Homeowners Association, Membership Chair and Secretary of the Northeast Neighborhood Alliance. Currently, he is the Chairman of the City of San Antonio’s Building Standards Board.
